I'm Leslie Rucki, wife, Mom, Mimi, and owner of Southern Styles Salon in Sweeny, Texas! I love hair salon continuing education and mastering the newest trends! I'm a nature lover, amateur gardener, dog Mom, and volunteer.
I love creating home decor, crocheting, cross stitching, and reading. My passion is helping children and pets in our community. Formally a member with the Board of Directors with Gulf Coast CASA serving Brazoria, Wharton, and Matagorda Counties, I still am passionate in supporting this organization. They are a nonprofit organization helping children in the foster care system and who have been removed from their homes by CPS due to neglect and abuse. Currently we are supporting Friends of Sweeny Impound Animals in Sweeny, Texas. Our hair salon holds a drive every Christmas to raise items the dog pound needs. The pound has been no kill since 2017, unless a dog is truly aggressive or in bad shape medically. If anyone wants to see the pound, meet dogs or look at the pound they can call Sweeny PD and ask for the animal control officer. Their needs include Pedigree or Purina dry dog food and treats, cash or checks, and the Amazon wish list is always growing.
